What kind of food will I need to buy for my new Puppy? Your puppy is currently eating Nutro Ultra Puppy - Dry Kibble. You can purchase another kind but gradually mix the new food in with the old food to keep from upsetting his/her tummy. We will give you a small sample bag of the food we are feeding your puppy. Your puppy is "free fed" which means that they have food available at all times. If you would like to switch to another type of food check out Dog Food Analysis. This website shows the ratings for each dog food and what makes it a good or bad food. This is a great website and I find it very helpful. Nutro Ultra is sold at most pet stores and online. Grocery Stores do not carry this brand of dog food. |
